Tue, 04 Jul 2006 19:24:06 +0000 http://www.warrenfalk.com/blog/2006/04/20/no-64bit-flash-player/#comment-451 hello! myself struggeling to get my Radeon 9800 (AGP, of course) to work, even only in clone / mirror, leave alone in Xinemara :-/ however, problems only start occuring after a 1st X session, so i had plenty of times, after using the uninstall.sh and reinstalling the ATI driver from scratch, to get a clean nice fresh start where everything is working as it should, both in clone or in Xinemara; bottom line: in Xinemara, even with DRI / 3D setup correctly & working, the frame rate drops to a fraction (less then 10%) of what it is in single or clone/mirror mode. in LostDOS (oups, WinDOwS, that is >:) the performance, calibration or test programs will only work on ONE display at a time. if you wish to test or need to use 3D, you will have to switch (temporarely) to dual-head clone/mirror. w/ kind rgds, mr.c. ps: don't do it, unless you are confident you can get your big desktop back (!) hello!
